Sweet Cinnamon Crunchy Chickpeas
Ingredients
15.5 oz can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), strained and rinsed
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon monkfruit sweetener* ( I use Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener)
instructions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees and spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
Place the chickpeas in a bowl then add the syrup, olive oil, cinnamon, and monkfruit sweetener then mix well.
Place the mixture on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
Take the chickpeas out of the oven and toss them around then put the back in the oven for 8-15 minutes. Keep on eye on them to make sure they don’t burn.

*If you don’t have monkfruit sweetener then you can use regular sugar.
