The Healthiest Tuna Melt
INGREDIENTS
1 slice of Ezekiel bread (or english muffin) from Food for Life Baking
5 oz. can (net weight) solid white albacore tuna in water, drained (I get from Trader Joe’s)
1 slice cheese (I use Violife Foods Vegan Mature Cheddar Slices)
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
Spices to taste: everything bagel seasoning
INSTRUCTIONS
Toast the bread just the way you like it.
While the bread is toasting, put the drained tuna in a bowl and add the mustard. Mash the tuna and mustard with a fork.
Add the tuna/mustard to the top of the toast.
Put the slice of cheese on top.
Broil in the oven on high for 3-5 minutes then top with everything bagel seasoning and enjoy with some cut veggies!
